Climbing Japan's100 famous mountains is not easy but it's a good chance to get to know deeply the country whose territory is 72% mountains. In 1964 the mountaineer Kyuya Fukada wrote the book "Nihon Hyaku-meizan", the 100 famous Japanese mountains and I decided to try to do the same.

I finally finished, I got experience and, if you like, let's try to climb up some of them together.

About Me

Born in Rome, at the age of 8 my parents enrolled me in a Boy Scout group in which I was a member until the age of 24. This experience put me in touch with nature, I learnt what life in the open air is all about and I became passionate about mountains. I started with the Apennines and perfected myself in my beloved Dolomites in Italy.
